As the founder of The Sunshine Bookkeeper, Lauren is passionate about helping business owners stay organized, confident, and in control of their finances. She brings deep expertise in monthly bookkeeping, managing receivables and payables, and all things QuickBooks Online—from invoicing and payroll to sales tax and financial reporting. Her goal is to make the back end of business feel less overwhelming, so her clients can focus on what they do best.
When she’s not working with numbers, you’ll find her flying spaceships, sailing the high seas, and fighting dinosaurs with her two little ones. She loves being outdoors and is happiest when she’s near the water.

Adam is the Administrative Partner at The Sunshine Bookkeeper, where he brings a strong background in business management and a natural talent for keeping things running smoothly. Formerly a Santa Cruz restaurant owner, he’s skilled in customer service, communication, and creative problem-solving. At The Sunshine Bookkeeper, he keeps everything organized behind the scenes—handling scheduling, client support, and even pitching in with online bookkeeping tasks.
He’s also Lauren’s life partner and dad to their two adventurous boys. When he’s not organizing workflows or answering emails, you’ll find him sailing imaginary ships, chasing dinosaurs, or soaking up the sunshine with his family.
